Tanzanian President John Pombe Magufuli has dified his critics on free speech by releasing a musician whom the coutry's police force had arrested for a new hit against some errant government officials.

In a move that negates all odds to showcase that the President is keen and willing to listen to constructive criticism, contrary to some critics, the President ordered release of the musician going by the alias "Nay wa Mitego."

"The President spent sometime to listen to the song that reveals presence of some bad people in the society including some government officials.

"Infact the President loved the messaging and beats as well.As you know, he loves music," said the newly installed Minister of Information, Dr. Harrison Mwakyembe.

The Minister told reporters in the country's new Capital, Dodoma, that it was unfortunate that the rapper was arrested by the police force.

"Let the police set him free.Infact the President would wish the artist to release another version of the song with more messaging on other societal evils like drug trafficking, corruption, tax evasions and laziness," said Dr. Mwakyembe.

Commentators praised the decision insisting that the President has consistently poised himself as someone who is ready for positive criticism.

"This showcases how willing is the leader to accept positive criticism.People ought not to confuse between constructive comments like what the artist did with politically motivated lies and social media propaganda which Magufuli and any other transformational leader would not accept," said a Kenyan analyst based in London.

President Magufuli's austerity measures have won him many accolades and his brand shines from the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa to the Golan Heights in Middle East; from percolating hills of Nairobi to busy streets of New Jersey.
